LEGITIMATE QUESTIONS
EDR signs a binding NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) governed by Italian law before even receiving the drawing. Our production partners are contractually bound to us, and drawings are never publicly disclosed.
We manage orders starting from a minimum value of €4,000 or batches of at least 50 pieces for industrial series. We produce single prototypes only as a preliminary phase for series production, not as a standalone service.
Our quotes are DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) to our premises. Duties, international transport, and customs procedures are entirely handled and covered by EDR. The price you see is the final amount you will pay on the invoice.
The standard cycle by sea takes approximately 4-5 months (production + transport). However, for urgent needs or samples, we manage air shipments (15-20 days). We always recommend stock planning to maximize savings on sea freight.
With a dedicated Italian technical contact, changes are managed in real-time: if the mold is modifiable, we intervene on the existing one; if a new mold is necessary, thanks to our advantageous costs, the economic impact is still much lower than in Europe.
Absolutely. We provide 3.1 certificates for each batch of material, guaranteeing chemical and mechanical correspondence to European standards (e.g., AISI, EN, UNI). Our laboratory verifies the authenticity of every certificate.
We select the country and the plant based on the technology and specific cost-effectiveness at the time (duties/costs). We always transparently communicate where production will take place. We have partner plants in both countries to ensure production continuity.
The molds are your exclusive property. EDR guarantees their custody and maintenance at our partners. In case of critical issues, we have the authority and logistics to move the molds to another partner in our network without interrupting the supply.
